Transferring a gun to Osage Gun Exchange is a very simple procedure.
Wherever you buy the gun they are going to need a copy of our FFL in order to ship the gun to us. Upon request we will e-mail them a copy of our license. They will then send the gun to us for you to pick up.
What we will need from you is;
1. Your name and a phone number to contact you when it arrives.
2. The name of the dealer sending us your gun.
3. The dealer's email address.
They will need to include 2 things with the gun.
1. A copy of their FFL.
2. Your name and phone number, for a match.
Once we receive the gun we will call to let you know that the gun has arrived and can be picked up. To pick up the gun you will need a valid government issued photo ID and will need to fill out a Federal Form 4473 for the background check. Once all of these are complete, and your background check is a "proceed", you can pay your transfer fee and take your gun home.
Transfer Fees
$25 for each firearm transfered and an extra for $10 multiple handguns and semi-auto rifles due to multi-gun processing.
An additional $5 per day charge for storage will be charged if your transfer is not picked up within 5 days after firearms is delivered unless other arrangements have been made. We have very limited space and unfortunately do not have the room in our safes to store items long term. Please pick up your item as soon as you can.
